REBELS RULES

  1. No gum chewing or food allowed at practices.

  2. You are encouraged to support your other Rebels by attending school events that do not interfere with dance. You are to carry yourself in a HIGHLY respectable manner, EVERYWHERE.

  3. Practice clothes are only to be worn in closed practices.

  4. You must be dressed in PRACTICE CLOTHES, EVERY practice. If you do not have practice clothes, use your school gym uniform. (NO HOODIES OR OTHER LARGE SWEATERS OR BAGGY PANTS).

  5. No dancing is allowed barefoot or in socks! Proper footwear must be worn for safety reasons.

  6. If you miss a practice the week of a performance, you will not be able to participate in the next dance but still must be present and dressed with the rest of the team.

  7. YOU are responsible for knowing EVERY dance. If you miss a practice, it is your responsibility to learn what you missed.

  8. Tardiness is not acceptable. Practices will begin on time. If you decide to come late, what was covered will not be reviewed in practice.

  9. If there is a reason you need to miss practice, please let Coach Donald know and understand that you may miss changes made in your absence and is your responsibility to learn the changes.

  10. Disrespect to any team member, especially the Captains is not allowed. Disrespect will result in immediate removal from the team..

  11.  Any issues that arise that are not covered above, will be dealt with per issue, by the Coach and/or Athletic Director if needed.

Additional Rules for Competition Season

  1.  Sideline Dance Members are not required to attend competitions with the competition team but are encouraged to! Space is limited on the bus for sideline team members.

  2.  Sideline Dance Members are welcomed at the Competition Dance Members practices.

  3.  If a practice is missed, you will be removed from the team.

  4.  Practice for the competition team is on Monday at 3:45pm-5:30pm and Wednesday 2:00-4:00pm but may be extended as seen fit by Coach Donald and the captains.

  5.  All body piercings must be removed. Including tongue and belly button.

  6.  Long hair must be secured if you will be performing any airborne stunts.

  7.  Nails must be kept short and UNPOLISHED unless it is CLEAR.

  8.  Any issues that arise that are not covered above, will be dealt with per issue, by the Coach and/or Athletic Director if needed.
